Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 FE at IFA Berlin. The phone retains a similar design to its predecessor, the S24 FE, but comes with several improvements. It features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPS display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. The display includes an in-display fingerprint scanner, and both front and back panels are protected by Gorilla Glass Victus+, framed in a durable armor aluminum body. The device is IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
Performance & Hardware
Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 FE is powered by a 4nm Exynos 2400 SoC, paired with 8GB RAM and up to 512GB storage. A larger 4,900mAh battery is included, supporting 45W fast charging, along with wireless and reverse wireless charging. The phone’s cooling is improved with a 10% larger vapor chamber, ensuring better thermal management during heavy usage.
Camera Setup
The S25 FE retains a triple rear camera setup: a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide lens with a 123° field of view, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and OIS. The front camera is upgraded to 12MP for sharper selfies and video calls.
Software & Features
Running on Android 16 with One UI 8, the device promises seven years of OS updates and security patches. AI-powered features include Gemini Live, ProVisual Engine, Portrait Studio, Audio Eraser, Instant Slow-mo, and more. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E.
