This year marks significant changes for OnePlus. Rumors suggested a complete redesign of its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 15, and now the first leaked image confirms it.
The circular camera island that featured on previous high-end OnePlus models is gone. In its place is a square module with rounded corners, painted black, housing three cameras – a pair grouped together and one separate.
Display and Colors
The rear image doesn’t reveal the front, but leaks indicate a flat 6.78-inch display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.
The phone will come in three colors:
- Dune – the hero color likely used in marketing campaigns
- Absolute Black – described as the blackest black paint on a smartphone
- Mist Purple – a soft, muted purple tone
Expected Launch and Specifications
The OnePlus 15 (skipping the digit “4” per company tradition) is expected to launch in October, alongside the Ace 6.
It will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and feature a new in-house image engine, following the end of OnePlus’ partnership with Hasselblad.
Battery specs are impressive, with a 7,000mAh battery supporting 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
